Varry joined Bellcom in June 2004 and has been the driving force
in transforming the business. Varry has led the business into being
a boutique sales organisation that has attracted a portfolio of
blue chip clients.
From an HR and training background, Varry's contact centre
career began with BT in 1995. Varry led her first sales team
to success during the launch of the 'Friends & Family'
campaign. From there, she became responsible for the build
and development of several BT contact centres across the UK.
Varry was also responsible for BT's joint venture programmes in
Italy. This culminated in a variety of quality awards.
On her return to the UK, Varry joined Callpoint Europe as
Operations Director. In this role she worked towards
establishing the call centre hotel concept. During this time,
Varry worked with clients such as Esure, British Gas and the
Department of Work & Pensions. At this time she also
joined the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce as a Council Director and
still serves on the Board to this day.
Described as the consummate professional, Varry is known for
working with integrity. Varry is relentless in driving
results and excellence within her team. She is passionate
about her people and has developed a culture where the Bellcom
Community is at its core. Success is a key word and people
are recognised and rewarded for achievement and actively encouraged
to fulfil their potential.
Her leadership style has been publicly recognised. In 2008
she was shortlisted for the Glasgow Business Leader of the Year
Award.
Outwith work Varry is a keen horsewoman. She combines this
with the Bellcom Community by running the Bellcom Pony Club!
